Jewelry inspired by ancient cultures, sums up the distinctive style of the pieces designed by Joan Rosetsky.  Fashioned of sterling silver, gold and gemstones, each item is a work of art intended to be worn not simply as an accessory, but also as an expression of the spiritual symbols and sacred meanings embodied in them. Initially spurred by the desire to express the experiences and knowledge she gained through the practice and teaching of yogasana, Joan started five years ago. Since then the line has expanded drawing from other ancient cultures. Joan notes that its not uncommon for a person to wear a Pink Lotus piece every day because of the strong connection she or he feels with it. Now Pink Lotus is  available online (www.pinklotusdesigns.com), at The TreeHouse at Cornerstone Health and Fitness in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and in Maine and California. The future might hold a PinkLotus shop, but meanwhile, Joan says, I enjoy the process of being inspired by travels, books and my personal practice to create meaningful pieces of jewelry.
