Jewelry inspired by ancient cultures sums up the distinctive styles of the pieces designed by Joan Rosetsky.  Using gold, silver, semi precious and gemstones, Pink Lotus; jewelry inspired by ancient cultures™ expresses a sacred joy.  Influenced by the esoteric practice of yoga, Joan sought to express emotions and beliefs that she personally experienced through her study, and practices.

Joan’s study and practice of yoga began in 1999 and it was through the process of that work that she became drawn and inspired to design jewelry.   It was the yoga practice that planted the seed to design jewelry.  “ The symbolism used in ancient art tells a story of an experience. They serve as windows to the soul and help provide a deeper understanding of the world around us”.  “People will wear my jewelry because it is beautiful, ornate and interesting from every angle.  They don’t need to have an understanding of its essence.  I wear each of my pieces not simply as an accessory but also to express the spiritual symbolism and sacred meaning embodied in each piece.   It projects my intention from the heart”.
